Honeoye-Springwater and Honeoye Lake Ride

Looks like we combined two rides on one map for this one. Is that a bail out? The 21 mile version makes a big circle around little Honeoye Lake by going almost into Naples before heading back to the start. The terrain is mostly rolling hills. Not going into Naples means there are no food or rest stops on this ride, but also means you don't have to climb back out of town either. The easiest way back is on the east side of the lake, (some gravel) while the longer hillier option is Gulick Rd. Be forewarned, Gulick Rd although not originating from the bottom of the hill in Naples is not flat!

The 31 mile ride is much hillier and starts the long gradual climb right out of town. There is a great view of the lake from Harriet Hollister Spencer Park. This is the jump off from where people hang glide! After the climb, there is a great downhill into Springwater (of course then you have to climb back out!) Springwater offers food, but no bathrooms. Both rides are for the most part, on relatively low traffic roads.
