Mendon Ponds - No Rush
There's an old joke amongst the older (been in the club longer) members of "Oh, it's another Mendon Ponds ride!" Yes, it does make for a great start and the rolling hills are nice, but how many rides can you do in this area? Apparently a lot, because we keep coming up with more. Unfortunately because this area has become more developed over the years, some of these roads can have enough traffic to make them less enjoyable than one would want, but it is only 26 miles and not all the roads are heavily traveled. As is typical with most shorter rides from the park, there are no food stops.
