Other than the climb out of Scottsburg, the rest of this 39 mile ride is mostly rolling hills on low traffic roads. Taking the 24 mile cut off won't help either since you need to climb from the lake shore to Conesus. Food is available at the little store in E Groveland if it is open and then again in Conesus.
