Double -Triple Century

This one is only for the ambitious and might be our only "international" club ride. How much riding you want to do in Canada determines whether you ride 200 or 300 miles. The route is mostly flat and stays near the Erie canal for the outbound route and Lake Ontario on the return trip. Entering Canada via the Whirlpool bridge, just north of Niagara Falls, you follow the Parkway to Niagara on the Lake. From here you decide whether the continue on to St Catherines for the triple century. Remember to take your ID for entrance into Canada. Do you really think the boarder patrol will buy your story of just riding in Canada long enough to complete 300 miles? Lights might be a good idea as well, unless you plan on riding very fast. Since the ride goes through numerous towns especially on the way out, food is abundant. It may be a little more sparse on the return route, but by then it may be so late, most of the stores are closed anyway.
