Old Hilly Century
Originally mapped out for the GEAR rally the club hosted back in 1970 in Canandaigua, this ride has been around longer than some of us care to admit. Since there is no real reason to start the ride in Canandaigua anymore, the start was moved closer to the city. There is a nice mix of flat, rolling and hilly roads in this ride, with flat being at the beginning and the end providing for a nice warm up and cool down. There are multiple places to stop for food. An optional route leaving Bristol Center heads for the store in Cheshire before rejoining the original return route again. The ride is actually 105 miles, but after 100 miles, who's counting?
