Chuck's Gerrymeander

I have no idea what this one means, but it wanders around the city, mostly near the outskirts for 14 miles. Except for Highland Park, the route is flat. This would best be done on a Sunday morning and would be a great tandem ride. Breakfast could be had at a number of places along the way. This ride is very similar to the Sunday morning downtown ride (#169) as well as several other city rides offered.

Looking up "gerrymeander" in the dictionary revealed the interesting play on words the author of this ride employed. Note the dictionary spelling of "gerrymeander" (no "e" in the "mander") is gerryMANder, which includes the phrase "... "manipulate the BOUNDARIES of" ... and this ride does that with the outskirts of the city. On the other hand, it also, in serendipitous fashion, "meanders". So what's right? Ask Chuck!
