Seneca Lake Scramble

The north end of the lake is not near as hilly as the southern end. Start in Geneva and climb up to ride the ridge between the lakes for 86 miles. The only food available before you get to Watkins Glen might be found in Himrod, but then again, who knows in these small towns. There's a nice downhill in Watkins Glen, but you have to climb back out again for the return trip before riding rolling hills back to the start. Lodi will be the only chance for food on the east side of the lake. Most roads are lightly traveled. The ride can be shortened to 75 miles.
