Frontier Century

Starting from downtown Rochester at Frontier field, this (103 mile) century once out of town, follows some great country roads! Since it will be a weekend, traffic in the city will not be an issue. If a century is more than you want to ride, there are numerous ways to make it shorter, the easiest being to turn right on Boughton Hill Rd instead of left and rejoin the ride in Honeoye Falls which would basically cut the ride in half.

Actually, there are any number of roads that can be taken along the way to shorten the ride varying amounts, the choice is yours. Taking the alternate route out of Canandaigua omits a few steep climbs, but has more traffic. Most of the ride is rolling hills, with the steepest climbs being at the far end of the route. Food can be found in Pittsford, Canandaigua Bristol Center (Cheshire if taking the alternate route), Honeoye Falls, Avon and Scottsville.
