Black Creek- Fowlerville

This 41 mile ride starts from Black Creek Park off Union Street (bathrooms in park), and proceeds south to Fowlerville and back. The ride is laid out counter-clockwise (w/cue) but can easily be ridden clockwise (w/o cue). The roads are mostly very quiet, with the exception of a short stretch on Union Street, and Route 5 which has a very good shoulder. The terrain is generally rolling and road conditions are fine (2007). The fish hatchery can be visited by taking Route 36 from Mumford to Caledonia instead of Spring Street.
