Amish Country Tour

Since you are in the heart of Amish country, you are more apt to run into an Amish buggy than a car during this 66 miles of gently rolling terrain on mostly lightly traveled roads. Because the ride folds back on itself a lot, it can easily be shortened.

A slight detour into Clyde very early in the ride is an option should you need a stop, otherwise bring snacks and water if you are doing the whole route. There is a very nice lunch break in Waterloo, but not until around the 50 mile point. Aside from that there are only corn fields and an occasional Amish school house (with hand water pumps and outhouses) for rest stops.
