Passing this along.  Contact Fran directly if you are interested in participating.

Parks & Trails New York (PTNY) is looking for people who might want to be a model in some Erie Canalway Trail shots for the Erie Canalway Trail website that is being created for PTNY. One photographer will be shooting this coming weekend and another maybe during this week, when it is forecast to be sunny and warmer. We are planning on photos from Brockport, Spencerport, and Pittsford.  We are especially interested in persons in the 20 – 40ish age category and children over 10.

Cyclists in colorful jerseys are what we are also hoping for.  Dave Valvo is expecting to shoot in Spencerport at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and around  11:30 a.m. at Pittsford Schoen Place.  Andy Olenick will be shooting in Brockport but I don’t yet know when.

Call me anytime on my cell phone 585-797-7098 if you want to discuss.  This would be very helpful to us.  Thanks so much.

Here is what you can send them as far as what we are doing and why:

PTNY has contracted with 2k Design as a consultant to help us develop our Erie Canalway Trail marketing effort.  We received a modest grant from Empire State Development to fund this effort.  Dave Valvo, a well-known Rochester photographer, will be doing some of the beauty shots for the website that 2k is creating, but we can’t pay professional models for these shots and real people are better anyway.  So, what we need is some cyclists who may want to be part of a shoot  in Brockport, Spencerport, and Pittsford.  Time is of the essence as we are losing leaves, leaf color, and temperature at a rapid rate. Below is  what we are looking for.  Can you put out a call to your networks to see if there are people who might be interested?  It should be a neat experience.

Here is what we need:

Models - mix of ages:

– Boomers age 50-70
– Families with one or two kids (around age 10+)
– 20-30 somethings
– Diversity
– Mix of male/female
– Couples (groups of couples)
– 2-4 women
– 2-4 men

Wardrobe: Bright colors (but not bright green)

OK - Red, pink, bright blues, orange, gold, purple;

NO black, dark blue, white; Solid colors (Black bike shorts or pants are fine)

NO patterns prints

Bike helmets a must!

Day packs optional
