How much do you really know about safe riding?
We are excited to be able to offer a series of bicycle safety classes this year led by RBC Member, Lori Burch. Lori is a Cycling Instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists.
Part 1 (Thursday May 21, 6:30PM, Rain date May 28) will cover basic bike handling skills for the beginning cyclists or for those looking to improve their handling skills.
Part 2 (Saturday, May 23, 1:00PM, Rain date May 30) will cover hazard avoidance skills as well as recommended gear for safe cycling.
These will be hands-on, active participation classes, so bring your bike, rain jacket and your helmet! Class size is limited to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 attendees. Sign up required. As these parts are largely held outside, extreme weather will be a cause to reschedule.
A registration fee of $25 is required when signing up. Current RBC members will have this fee refunded upon completion of both parts of the Safety Class.
