Bike Camping Trip: Lake Ontario and Niagara Falls

Lake Ontario and Niagara Falls

We will be riding west from Yates county and exploring the Niagara Falls area. We will be camping at Four Mile Creek State Park (along Lake Ontario).The campground has showers, camp store and trails. Reservations are required; some members have already reserved sites and are willing to share.

On the first day we will park our cars near Lyndonville and ride west, with our gear, to Four Mile Creek SP (37 miles). On the second day, Sunday, we will ride from  4 Mile Creek Park to Niagara Falls and back  (39 miles without gear). On Monday, we will ride back with our gear to our cars.

We will be riding on quiet country roads (avoiding Rt 104/Rt 18). Routes are mostly flat and on paved roads. This area has lots of places to eat along the way and of course, scenic rest stops. If you don’t have the equipment for bikepacking, this trip could be turned into a bike camping trip if interested!
